The elasticized ankle is a lifesaver—my toddler can pull these on by herself without any fuss. The hand-stitched premium leather has held up beautifully through a month of daily wear, too.

The leather is way softer than I expected for a shoe this sturdy, and the elastic ankle means I'm not fighting with laces every morning. My little guy cruises around the living room in them all day without a single complaint.

My 15-month-old actually keeps these on, which is saying something. The elastic ankle makes them easy to slip on wiggly feet, though I wish the sole had a touch more grip for outdoor walks. The leather has held up well after a month of daily wear.
