The velcro straps are a lifesaver since my daughter can finally put her own shoes on without me wrestling with laces every morning. She's worn them daily for a month and the rubber soles still look barely scuffed.
My 4-year-old figured out the elastic laces on day one and now insists on putting them on himself, which is a small miracle. The rubber soles have held up through two months of playground abuse without a scratch.
