I was worried the leather would get stiff after getting wet, but these stayed soft through a whole afternoon of tide pools. The two-prong closure is a small thing that makes a big difference — no pinching, even when my feet swelled up in the heat.
I wore these all day at a splash pad with my toddler and my feet never once hurt — no blisters from the straps, which is usually my problem. The water-resistant leather dried fast after we got soaked, and the prong-free design means nothing digs in. Genuinely the comfiest sandals I've owned.
Wore these straight to the beach and the water-resistant leather straps dried off fast without getting stiff or gross. The prong-free closure is the real win though, no metal digging into my foot after a full day of chasing my toddler through the sand.
